Support Staff (Adult Day Program)
Join our day program for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, offering education, socialization, and community volunteer activities every day.
About the Role
As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will assist adult clients in our fun, social, and activities-based adult day program. You will help members achieve greater independence, inclusion, and personal growth.
Schedule
- Mondays - Fridays
- 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. or 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Full-time is classified as 30–40 hours per week. Day program staff qualify for benefits.
Location
Westside (Pico-Robertson Area). Must be willing to commute to the Pico-Robertson Area and surrounding communities.
Pay
Starting at $20.00 per hour.

Responsibilities
- Assist adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in daily activities
- Teach and guide clients in learning new skills
- Drive clients using your personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided) or a company van
- Use instincts to adapt to clients’ needs in the moment
- Engage in physical activities (e.g., walking), music, and fun group activities
Requirements
- Available Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m. or 8:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
- Licensed driver with a minimum of three years’ experience
- Insured personal vehicle
- Willingness to drive clients in your personal vehicle or a company van
- Compassionate, patient, and motivational
- Strong communication skills
- Enjoy physical exercise, music, and engaging in fun activities
