About the role

Eliot is seeking a dedicated Support Specialist to join our Brain Injury program. This program provides high-quality, innovative programming to adults with brain injuries to enhance their lives, develop personal skills, and engage in community activities while building supportive relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to individuals with medical, physical, cognitive, and socioemotional needs in completing daily activities, including personal care, meal prep, cleaning, and leisure.
• Afford assistance with personal care and hygiene as needed, promoting independence and personal growth.
• Administer medications in accordance with MAP regulations and report any significant health, behavioral, or psychiatric concerns.
• Perform routine housekeeping tasks and report all maintenance or safety issues to ensure a clean and safe environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma.
• Experience working with intellectually disabled or brain injured adults.
• Ability to drive residence van.
• Must possess a valid Massachusetts driver’s license and maintain a personally owned vehicle.

Schedules

• Sunday and Monday, 7am-3pm (16 hours)
• Sunday and Monday, 3pm-11pm (16 hours)
• Sunday-Monday, Friday-Saturday, 7am-3pm (32 hours)

Pay

• $20.50 - $20.50 USD
