Support Services Technician

Randstad Digital is seeking an experienced Support Services Technician for a remote opportunity in the Kansas City area. This role provides first-level technical support for computer software and hardware products and services, including problem recognition, research, isolation, and resolution.

Responsibilities

• Work remotely performing troubleshooting, repairs, and deployment of Windows and Apple products
• Assist internal customers daily via phone, chat, email, and occasional in-person interactions
• Accurately record all work and troubleshooting in tickets
• Maintain a positive, professional attitude at all times
• Troubleshoot mobile devices, including iPhone/iPad and Android
• Troubleshoot network printers and multifunctional devices
• Use Active Directory to reset passwords and assign users/computers to groups
• Troubleshoot remote VPN connectivity and network drive access

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in an MS Windows environment handling break/fix support calls
• Experience using and troubleshooting MS Office (O365) products
• Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow preferred)
• Experience managing and troubleshooting Windows 10 workstations
• Working knowledge of Active Directory users and computers
• Working knowledge of Apple products, including iPhone, iPad, and Mac computers
• Associate degree in a related field preferred; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Certification and/or license preferred

Pay

$25 - 28 per hour

Schedule

8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
