About the role
The Support Services Associate I will be responsible for maintaining facility safety, order, and cleanliness and will provide backup assistance to other staff.
Responsibilities
- Perform janitorial duties, including duties left over from a different shift.
- Assess and record safety hazards and maintenance needs.
- Perform random and frequent walks through the entire interior of the building. Record evening report in the staff log at the end of each shift.
- Handle issues that may arise with individuals during an overnight night shift (if applicable)
- Do occasional room checks or searches as needed.
- Respond to emergency calls on overnight phone (if applicable)
- Aid with a variety of administrative duties.
- Act as backup to Guest Services by performing Breathalyzer tests and Urine Analysis drug screens for individuals entering the building after curfew or returning from the hospital.
- Handle office telephones and monitor incoming people.
- Record and organize messages for clients and staff.
- Provide referrals for callers when necessary.
- Participate in organizational meetings, training, and initiatives as required.
- Perform other duties assigned to support the Mission’s success.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Staying awake during overnight hours (if assigned to that shift) is required.
- Customer Services experience is highly preferred.
- Previous janitorial experience is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay Range
$21.31 Hourly to $25.82 Hourly
