Job Responsibilities
- Provide advanced computer support activities and support projects to ensure client computers are functional and performing efficiently.
- This includes, but is not limited to, computer labs, equipment, classrooms, simulation rooms etc.
- This position primarily supports Sioux Falls locations with remote and in person support to other locations as needed.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of: A wide variety of computer software, hardware, telephony and peripherals.
- University IT Security standards and incorporate that knowledge in the support process.
- Interpersonal and customer service skills to assist and respond to questions from users with a range of technical understanding from very limited to advanced.
- In depth hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Installing operating systems and software.
- Industry standards such as ITIL (information technology infrastructure library), ITSM (information technology service management)
Skills & Ability
- Diagnose and resolve workstation, laptop and network problems.
- Operate a variety of software applications.
- Establish effective working relationships.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with students, staff, faculty and visitors.
- Work both independently and as part of a team.
- Identify areas for professional growth and learn new skills.
Required License
- Valid driver’s license or ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire.
