Support Merchandiser - Delta, CO

About the role

American Greetings is seeking Support Merchandisers to help customers celebrate holidays and special moments by showcasing and managing our product inventory.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on your assigned route, including merchandising and organizing product orders
• Display product within greeting card departments and other retail locations
• Maintain an organized backroom area
• Other inventory tasks as needed
• Communicate with management about service or schedule issues
• Utilize effective time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced retail environment
• Partner and build relationships with retail store associates and management during daytime business hours
• Occasionally assist with store resets, including minor fixture work, product assembly, relocation, or removal
• Review and plan weekly service schedule and workload using a company-issued tablet
• Work independently and with a team

Requirements

• No prior experience necessary, training provided
• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
• Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Access to reliable transportation and internet
• Technological competency to use company-issued tablet for training and daily activities
• Ability to meet scheduling needs, including weekends and major holidays

Qualifications

• Physical demands include standing, walking, stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and using a stepstool

Pay and Schedule

• Starting pay is $15.30 per hour with increases to $16.20 after 6 months and $17.00 after 1 year
• Flexible work scheduling with an average of 6 hours per week initially, increasing to 12 hours per week around holidays
