About the Role
The Support Lead, under the leadership of the Store Manager and Customer Service Manager, assists in directing Front End Leads (if applicable) and sales associates while serving as the Manager on Duty. This role is responsible for key store functions, delivering exceptional customer service, supporting front-end operations, managing cash, maintaining cleanliness, ensuring safety, and driving sales.

Responsibilities
- Ensures all associates and managers deliver exceptional customer service through personal interaction.
- Responsible for achieving CSAT score goals set by the District Manager.
- Leads front-end operations and trains staff on the High Fives of Customer Service.
- Ensures fast, friendly checkout experiences for every guest.
- Maintains store cleanliness, recovery, and readiness for customers at all times.
- Performs opening and closing store procedures.
- Acts as Manager on Duty, performing store manager duties in their absence.
- Supervises, trains, coaches, and develops all associates.
- Reviews and implements all corporate communications.
- Partners with supervisors or corporate office to resolve store issues.
- Drives store sales and controls expenses, including payroll management.
- Assists in merchandising procedures and adheres to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Handles cash procedures, including preparing and dropping bank deposits.
- Authorizes register functions such as post voids, returns, and discounts.
- Complies with Human Resources policies and procedures.
- Assists in receiving, stocking, and staging merchandise for the sales floor.
- Drives key metrics: Sales, ADS, CSAT Scores, and Expense Control.
- Performs store maintenance, including garbage disposal, sweeping, cleaning bathrooms, and stock room upkeep.
- Frequently operates cash registers and moves merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Frequently ascends/descends ladders to retrieve and stock merchandise at heights of 5-10 feet.
- Frequently kneels, bends, twists, and stoops, including in the stock room and on the sales floor.
- Communicates with customers, managers, and coworkers via telephone and face-to-face interactions.
- Moves across the sales floor and stock room to assist customers and manage inventory.
- Identifies and interprets email and print instructions regarding layouts, schedules, and SOPs.
- Remains in a stationary, upright position for 80% of the time.
Qualifications
- High School Graduate or equivalent; college experience preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of management experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and think creatively.
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure.
