Responsibilities
- Ensure all crew members are “Wowing the Customer” through personal contact.
- Train the crew on the B.E.S.T. customer-service experience so every guest has a fast, friendly checkout.
- Oversee daily activities of store associates, ensuring effective performance and excellent customer service.
- Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock to get merchandise quickly onto the sales floor.
- Act as Manager on Duty when needed, taking full responsibility for store operations, staff management, customer service, and urgent issues.
- Manage the entire process of opening or closing the store, including securing cash, locking doors, setting alarms, and ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on store policies, product knowledge, and operational procedures.
- Drive store sales and control expenses by optimizing merchandising, staff performance, and customer service.
- Partner with the store leadership team on merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
- Perform store maintenance, including taking out garbage, sweeping, cleaning bathrooms, and maintaining the stock room.

Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent; college experience preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of management experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and think creatively.
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure.
Essential Job Functions
- Frequently operate a cash register.
- Frequently move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs and place/remove merchandise up to a height of 5–10 feet.
- Frequently ascend/descend ladders to retrieve and put away stock.
- Frequently kneel, bend, twist, and stoop in the stock room and on the sales floor.
- Frequently communicate and exchange information with customers, managers, and coworkers in person, by telephone, and via email.
- Frequently move across the sales floor and between the sales floor and stock room.
- Work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, overnights, and travel as required by business needs.
- Identify and discern email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and standard operating procedures.
- Remain in a stationary, upright position for 80% of the time.
- Be at least 18 years old and able to perform all essential job functions in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.

Pay
Starting at $11.50 per hour.
