Support Lead Full Time

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members are Wowing the Customer through personal contact with customers.
• Trains the crew on the B.E.S.T. customer service experience, ensuring each guest enjoys a fast, friendly checkout.
• Helps oversee daily activities of all store associates, guaranteeing effective duties performance and excellent customer service.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock to place items quickly and efficiently on the sales floor.
• Acts as Manager on Duty when needed, taking full responsibility for store operations, staff management, customer service, and urgent issues.
• Manages opening and closing processes, including securing cash, locking doors, setting alarms, and preparing the store for smooth daily operation.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates, teaching store policies, product knowledge, and operational procedures.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses by optimizing merchandising, staff performance, and customer service.
• Partners with the store leadership team on merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
• Performs store maintenance such as taking out garbage, sweeping, cleaning bathrooms, and maintaining the stock room.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi‑task.
• Creative thinking.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Essential Job Functions

• Frequently operate cash register.
• Frequently move merchandise weighing up to 25 lb and place/remove items up to a height of 5‑10 ft.
• Frequently ascend/descend ladders to retrieve and put away stock.
• Frequently kneel, bend, twist, and stoop in the stock room and on the sales floor.
• Frequently communicate with customers face‑to‑face and by phone, as well as with managers and coworkers, providing accurate information.
• Frequently move across the sales floor assisting customers and transporting merchandise between the floor and stock room.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule—including days, evenings, weekends, and possible overnight shifts or travel—as required by the business.
• Must be able to interpret email and printed instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and standard operating procedures.
• Must be able to remain in a stationary, upright position for approximately 80 % of the time.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to perform all essential job functions in compliance with applicable laws.

Pay

Hourly position starting at $13.00.

Schedule

Flexible schedule required to meet business needs, including day, evening, weekend, and possible overnight shifts, with occasional travel as needed.
