Responsibilities
- Ensure Support Coach shifts are covered for 24/7 facility care.
- Work open shifts when assigned staff are not able to work and complete on call duties as assigned.
- Effectively train staff, follow training guidelines given by Residential Administrator and ensure competencies are completed, including training in all building drills.
- Proactively communicate directly with Supervisor and known issues relating to Support Coach work duties.
- Effectively orient and assist new clients with transition to new living environment and assist in completing new client admission documentation.
- Complete all duties and appointments as assigned by Residential Administrator.
- Lead with positivity with staff and clients.
- Completes all required documentation within established timeframes and according to quality standards set by State and Federal regulations, CARF certifications, and program expectations.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements
- Sufficient sensory-motor dexterity to complete motor skills tasks such as operating a keyboard, phone, fax/scanner, copier, calculator, and other office equipment as needed.
- Requires normal range of hearing and manual dexterity to assist clients in day-to-day living routine.
- Prolonged sitting, frequent walking and standing, bending, stooping, and lifting up to fifty (50) pounds.
- Use of a computer
- TB test upon hire
- Able to use vehicle for travel/transport when requested
