Support Associate-Recovery Room

About the role

Cleans assigned areas per daily schedule, in allotted timeframe, and in accordance with E/S Procedures. Makes appropriate notations regarding needed maintenance and/or project work. Meet departmental expectations of cleanliness as related to patient and client survey results, and as reflected in quality inspection scores.

Responsibilities

• Acquires and maintains technical knowledge and skills as reflected in the following standards of performance:
• Keeps all equipment clean and in good working condition, and immediately reports equipment malfunctions.
• Knows and can demonstrate the proper use of chemicals, equipment and supplies used, and follows all safety standards per E/S Policy and Procedure Manual.
• Performs other duties as requested by management.
• Knows and can demonstrate the 7-steps of cleaning.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of related job experience.
• Ability to read and write, understand and follow instructions.
• Basic addition and subtraction skills.
• Verbal skills to effectively communicate with patients, visitors, staff and physicians.
• Ability to operate vacuum cleaners.

Schedule

Evening shift, 12:30 pm to 9:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
