Support Associate-Recovery Room

Cleaning Duties

• Cleans assigned areas per daily schedule, in allotted timeframe, and in accordance with E/S Procedures.
• Makes appropriate notations regarding needed maintenance and/or project work.

Department Expectations

• Meets departmental expectations of cleanliness as related to patient and client survey results, and as reflected in quality inspection scores.

Technical Knowledge and Skills

• Keeps all equipment clean and in good working condition, and immediately reports equipment malfunctions.
• Knows and can demonstrate the proper use of chemicals, equipment and supplies used, and follows all safety standards per E/S Policy and Procedure Manual.

Additional Responsibilities

• Performs other duties as requested by management.
• Knows and can demonstrate the 7-steps of cleaning.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of related job experience.
• Requires ability to read and write, understand and follow instructions; basic addition and subtraction skills, verbal skills to effectively communicate with patients, visitors, staff and physicians.
• The ability to operate vacuum cleaners.

Hours

This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
