About the role
Join a dynamic team at Esri where innovation meets impact. We are seeking a talented individual to join our GIS development team. This role involves working on cutting-edge projects that utilize GIS technology to solve complex problems and drive meaningful change.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain GIS applications using Python, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement GIS solutions that meet business needs.
- Contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of existing GIS systems.
- Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior developers.
- Stay updated with the latest GIS trends and technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Geography, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in GIS development or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and other relevant GIS programming languages.
- Familiarity with GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar tools.
- Experience with database management and SQL.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Qualifications
- Experience with GIS data analysis and visualization techniques.
- Knowledge of geospatial data models and geospatial databases.
- Understanding of geographic information systems concepts and methodologies.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
This is a full-time position with a standard 40-hour workweek.
