Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 AM, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week. Weekend work as needed. No on-call required.

Pay

Hourly pay range: $25.00 – $26.22. The stated pay scale reflects the range Sharp reasonably expects to pay for this position. Actual pay rate and pay grade will depend on factors such as years of experience, unique skills and abilities, education, alignment with similar internal candidates, marketplace factors, and employer business practices.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and deliver daily supplies and equipment shipped into TCHD.
  • Maintain a safe, clean working environment, including unit-based safety and infection control requirements.
  • Input daily item orders and perform daily stock checks as well as customer pickups as needed.
  • Ensure inventory items are stocked and counted, compare to established par levels, rotated, and replenished daily; follow all procedures.
  • Check for compromised products and expired inventory.
  • Receive inbound materials, mark with identifying information, verify and record amounts, and sort materials for stocking on racks, shelves, or bins.
  • Arrange materials for order assembly and recognize errors in receiving documents, requisitions, and inventory records.
  • Deliver lowest unit measure and bulk products.
  • Perform quality control, move carts to and from loading docks, and operate material handling equipment as needed.
  • Assist with customer requests while maintaining a high level of customer service.
  • Perform housekeeping duties, including all forms of onsite cleanup.
  • Operate materials handling tools and equipment from delivery to disposition of all materials.
  • Wear appropriate attire and personal protective equipment as required.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • One (1) to three (3) months of related work or training, required.
  • Must be able to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English.
  • Must have basic math skills (addition/subtraction).
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills; good customer relations skills.
  • High sense of urgency and ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, including lifting and delivering products up to 50 pounds and pushing delivery carts.
  • Proficient computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
  • One year of experience working in a hospital environment, preferred.
  • Material management software experience, preferred.
  • Knowledge of or experience in storeroom or inventory control, preferred.
