Supply Technician II
Join our Supply Chain team at Marshalltown Hospital and help ensure caregivers have the supplies and equipment they need to deliver exceptional patient care. As a Supply Tech II, you’ll play an essential behind-the-scenes role in supporting clinical teams by keeping supplies stocked, organized, and readily available across the hospital. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys staying organized, solving problems, and working in a fast-paced healthcare environment. You’ll collaborate closely with clinical departments and fellow team members to maintain inventory, respond to urgent supply needs, and support smooth daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Replenish supply closets and maintain appropriate stock levels throughout the hospital
- Accurately perform inventory counts and identify usage trends or irregularities
- Order supplies using inventory management systems and ensure timely restocking
- Support optimization of supply organization, quantities, and workflow efficiencies
- Replenish and inspect crash carts and other specialty carts for readiness
- Respond promptly to urgent supply and equipment requests from clinical teams
- Receive, check in, and organize incoming inventory deliveries
- Monitor equipment availability and coordinate repairs when needed
- Communicate supply shortages, out-of-stock items, and inventory concerns to leadership
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient supply environment

Schedule
As-Needed (PRN); approximately 8–12 hours per month, typically daytime hours Monday–Friday between 8:00 AM–12:00 PM.
