Supply Technician I

About the role

This position supports supply management work at Naval Air Station in New Orleans, LA. Duties include inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization.

Responsibilities

• Manage supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines.
• Understand organizational needs and apply analytical skills to solve problems or manage supply actions.
• Enforce safety culture, complete training, fulfill self-aid/buddy aid responsibilities, participate in emergency response tasks, and serve on safety committees and teams.
• Comply with quality policy, QMS documents, and customer contracts, and adhere to operational, safety, quality, and environmental requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum five (5) years' supply equipment assets management experience.
• English proficiency.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Secret clearance required.
• US Citizenship for Secret Clearance.
• A good working knowledge of governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines.
• Military supply equipment assets management experience preferred.

Qualifications
