Supply Technician - DMSS

Responsibilities

• Performs limited aspects of technical supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, property utilization) related to depot, local, or other supply activities.
• Analyzes and establishes facts, and takes or recommends action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines.
• May operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties.
• Issues written and oral instructions.
• Performs all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
• There are no supervisory responsibilities associated with the position.

Qualifications

Must possess as a minimum a high school diploma or equivalent and experience that includes three (3) years distribution and warehousing using WMS. Three years of material/supply functions, either in the military services or in commercial applications.

Must maintain a current state driver’s license. Security Clearance N/A

Skills

• Must be trained to operate forklift up to 6000 pounds.
• Requires a good working knowledge of the Government supply systems, programs, policies
