Supply Technician

This position is contingent on contract award.

About the role

The supply technician performs technical and clerical supply management duties. This position handles inventory control, cataloging, and storage optimization, along with analyzing supply data to solve specific property discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Tracks, monitors, and reports local and depot stock levels.
• Enters and updates material training data in inventory systems.
• Researches and resolves complex supply problems, discrepancies, and reporting errors.
• Plans warehouse storage layouts to maximize space and efficiency.
• Monitors excess property and recommends items for disposal or transfer.
• Ensures all training and storage meets federal safety and organizational guidelines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be a US citizen with a valid driver’s license.
• Must have a Secret clearance.
• Must have a valid passport.
• Minimum 1-2 years in logistics, warehouse operations, or supply chain working with P-8 aircraft series preferred.
• High proficiency with inventory software.
• Good working knowledge of governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines.
• Ability to define and solve problems.

Working Conditions

The working conditions will mostly be in a warehouse environment.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must have the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
• Physical requirements may also include bending, twisting, and lifting.
