Supply Technician

About the role

The role involves investigating stock, record, and material discrepancies to resolve errors affecting inventory balances. Duties include conducting research into supply discrepancies, performing physical inventory counts, and processing Material Release Orders (MROs).

Responsibilities

• Conducts research into supply discrepancies by examining transaction records, catalogs, and historical data.
• Communicates with warehouse personnel to address supply discrepancies.
• Verifies item information, quantity, and condition during physical inventory counts and location surveys.
• Processes MROs, STOs, and prepares corrective adjustments to rectify discrepancies.
• Responds to Supply Discrepancy Reports (SDRs) from various sources.
• Performs filing, correspondence, and other clerical tasks.

Requirements

Specialized experience that equips you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position is required. This includes:

• One year of specialized experience that equips you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position.
• Assisting with inventory functions such as conducting physical counts or location surveys.
• Performing basic research of supply records to identify discrepancies and responding to supply discrepancies from various sources.
• Using automated supply systems to track and update inventory information.

Qualifications

To qualify for a Supply Technician, your resume and supporting documentation must support:

• Specialized experience that equips you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position.
• Education that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.
• Equivalent combinations of successfully completed post-high school education and experience may be used to meet total experience requirements.
