Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the SME for SAP S/4HANA supply planning processes, diagnosing and resolving system and data issues.
- Analyze and optimize key planning parameters including: Planned delivery times, Lot sizes and grouping strategies, Minimum order quantities (MOQs), Purchase info records vs. contract hierarchies, Identify and correct inconsistencies across system settings influencing outputs and PO creation.
- Improve planner trust in system outputs by ensuring accurate, reliable data and configuration.
- Design and implement standardized, scalable workflows.
- Establish best practices for order grouping, tier pricing optimization, and supplier collaboration.
- Document end-to-end processes with clear roles, responsibilities, and decision frameworks.
- Reduce reliance on manual workarounds by building robust, system-driven processes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce variability, and improve service levels.
- Develop structured supplier communication and forecasting processes, including standardized formats and cadence.
- Enhance visibility into forecast changes (e.g., month-over-month tracking) to improve supplier alignment.
- Partner with procurement to optimize supplier performance and strengthen collaboration with key strategic vendors.
- Cook and develop a small but growing team of planners, increasing system proficiency and analytical capability.
- Lead change management efforts to transition the organization from legacy/manual processes to standardized, system-driven planning.
- Support organizational design evolution as planning and procurement functions continue to mature.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in supply planning.
- Deep, hands-on SAP S/4HANA experience specifically: Supply planning execution and troubleshooting, Planning parameter optimization, Understanding of system interactions (info records, contracts, master data).
- Proven experience stabilizing or optimizing planning processes post-ERP implementation or transformation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose system and process issues and implement solutions.
- Experience working in manufacturing or CPG environments.
- Preferred: Experience in post-M&A integration or harmonizing multiple operating models, Background in both planning and procurement collaboration models, Experience building processes from the ground up in a growth or transformation environment.
