Supply Planning Intern

Responsibilities

• Aid the purchasing department in daily operations.
• Navigate and access Supply Chain ERP applications.
• Participate in weekly supply planning and purchasing meetings.
• Communicate with suppliers on a daily basis regarding topics such as delivery and pricing.
• Create and maintain process and procedure documents for critical supply chain functions.
• Interface with suppliers to discuss delivery and pricing targets.
• Collect data, create spreadsheets, and perform data analysis.
• Assist the business planning team with forecasting and analysis as needed.

Requirements

• Undergraduate or graduate business student with a major in Supply Chain Management.
• Solid analytical skills and self-motivated personality.
• Effective communication skills, able to interact with all levels of the organization.
• Willingness to work in a team environment.
• Ability to handle multiple activities simultaneously and ensure accurate and timely task completion.

About the Role

The Supply Chain intern will be instrumental in supporting the supply chain team in achieving both departmental and corporate objectives. This role involves assisting with purchasing, participating in supply planning meetings, communicating with suppliers, and performing data analysis and forecasting tasks.
