About the Role

The Supply Planner Coordinator role provides daily transactional, executional, and analytical support to ensure the consistent flow of finished goods across the supply network. This position is responsible for supporting product availability, purchase order and external manufacturing order execution, inventory accuracy, and system data integrity in alignment with service and cost objectives. The coordinator works closely with Supply Planners, 3PL Operations, and external supply partners to support supply plan execution, investigate supply and system issues, and coordinate follow-through on resolution of order discrepancies and corrective actions. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, comfort working with data and planning systems, effective communication with internal and external partners, and the ability to balance consistent execution with continuous improvement in a dynamic operating environment.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate purchase orders through the full Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle, including creation, tracking, receipt confirmation, and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with suppliers through regular supply meetings and open order reviews to align priorities, communicate status, and support timely execution.
  • Support execution and completion of manufacturing orders at external manufacturing sites, including coordination with contract manufacturers to address order status, quantities, timing, and documentation; provide executional support for assembly and kitting operations as required.
  • Monitor inbound shipments and inventory movements, working with 3PLs and supply partners to address delivery timing, quantity discrepancies, or documentation issues.
  • Perform routine inventory adjustments, reconciliation, and variance analysis to support system accuracy; proactively investigate supply, inventory, or system issues, support root cause analysis, and coordinate corrective actions with Supply Planners, supply partners, and 3PLs.
  • Administer routine reporting and data maintenance, including purchasing info records, item master data, and EDI/API transaction accuracy.
  • Proactively monitor supply chain execution and system signals to identify emerging supply or logistics risks; communicate findings to internal stakeholders and support follow-up actions as needed.
  • Assist inbound transportation planning and execution to support service, cost, and on-time performance objectives.
  • Contribute to system and process improvements by maintaining documentation, validating data accuracy, and providing executional and analytical insights.
  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives and special projects that support supply chain effectiveness and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years’ expertise within the supply chain discipline; CPG experience preferred.
  • 1-3 years’ functional use of planning systems and methodologies—Master Production Scheduling (MPS) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP); SAP S/4HANA preferred.
  • 1-3 years’ functional experience in automated Procure to Pay systems and process—Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), EDI/API; SAP S/4HANA preferred.
  • Reputable supply chain certification preferred (e.g., APICS).

  • Technical Expertise: Proficient in ERP and MRP systems with operational knowledge of system integrations and data flows. Working knowledge in SAP S/4HANA and advanced analytics tools such as Data Cubes and MS Power BI.

Location

Hybrid combining working from home and onsite in White River Junction, VT, roughly 1-2 days per month. Ideal candidates will be located within 120 miles of our offices.

Pay

$50,900 to $69,300 annual salary.

    • May occasionally be required to lift or move items up to 15 pounds (e.g., office materials, documents).
    • Visual acuity needed for reviewing documents, spreadsheets, and data on screens.
    • Ability to commute to the office for in-person meetings, training, or other business needs as required.
  • Work Environment:
    • Indoors, a normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, or temperature changes.
    • This role operates in a professional office environment where most work is performed at a desk.
    • Remote work environment that meets KAB standards for work.
