Supply Manager I

Responsibilities

• Operate a tractor and trailer from Surplus Property to federal installations and state agencies.
• Maintain pickup schedule of all state property in accordance with the established schedule.
• Regularly inspect all equipment for cleanliness and remedial action for repairs.
• Absorb and unload truck promptly to ensure future schedules are met.
• Learn the scrap metal procedures and assist with providing coverage in this area.
• Maintain accurate documents.
• Inspect and maintain tractor trailers to ensure the equipment is suitable to operate in a safe manner.
• Pre trip vehicle and trailer either pre or post trip for possible defects for correction.
• Assist in other areas of Surplus property to include: screening, sales, transportation of state vehicles, pricing and processing of state and federal property.
• Perform other related duties as required.
• Stay abreast of highway and federal ICC regulations for South Carolina and bordering states to ensure compliance.
