About the role
We are seeking a Supply Management Planner to join a premier manufacturing client in Rock Island, IL. The role offers competitive pay, immediate start, and opportunities for career advancement.
Responsibilities
- Manage suppliers for several assigned commodities to support factory operations
- Execute planning activities in a supply chain of low complexity
- Maintain regular contact with business-critical suppliers and respond to incidents
- Collect and collate key market and supplier information
- Support senior decision-making through data analysis
- Manage inventory and escalate discrepancies
- Schedule actions, meetings, and events
- Develop and train in new ideas for continuous improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience
- At least 3 years of experience as a planner (preferred)
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; SAP experience is a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with web-based supply management tools (SPERT, ZMDelinq, and Lights SAP) or willingness to learn
- Detail-oriented, highly motivated, and capable of working onsite in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship

Pay
$24.50 per hour (2-year Contract)
Schedule
1st shift, any 8-hour shift between 6 am and 5 pm, no overtime but minimal OT hours
