About the role

Performs essential base-level tasks and functions related to service fulfillment, disinfection & sanitation in patient facing, ancillary or back-office areas. Provides service, support & colleague or customer support in accordance with level of experience, education, regulatory agency standards & established policies & procedures. Conducts daily functions in a compassionate, ethical & respectful manner. Supports patients, families & guests in exceeding their expectations. Demonstrates the ability to deliver personalized care & service unique to the patients' & families' expectations / needs.

Responsibilities

• Request, receive, and distribute equipment; manage obsolescence; stock general med-surg supplies in various healthcare settings
• Work with end users to request supplies, troubleshoot supply issues, and resolve discrepancies as they occur
• Maintain work and supply storage areas and equipment in a clean, up to date, organized, and safe condition
• Perform periodic PAR level replenishment duties using various resupply procedures to maintain stock levels
• Serve as a frontline Supply Chain support representative for ordering, data entry, and payment activities
• Assist Supply Chain Leader with special assignments
• Spend 70%+ of time providing inventory or data support

Qualifications

• 2+ years Supply Chain experience in a healthcare setting
• Experienced with health ministries and System supply chain processes within specialty areas
• Trains colleagues and readily assumes responsibility for extra assignments
• Serves as a frontline Supply Chain support representative for complex orders, data entry, reporting, and payment activities and initiatives
• Includes knowledge of all duties described in Technician role

Minimum requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Able to complete additional education, training, and competency tests as required
• Valid driver's license where required by assignment

Additional qualifications

• Previous Supply Chain experience in a healthcare, warehousing, or other distribution environment
