About the Role

Performs essential base-level tasks and functions related to service fulfillment, disinfection, and sanitation in patient-facing, ancillary, or back-office areas. Provides service, support, and colleague or customer support in accordance with level of experience, education, regulatory agency standards, and established policies and procedures. Conducts daily functions in a compassionate, ethical, and respectful manner. Supports patients, families, and guests in exceeding their expectations. Demonstrates the ability to deliver personalized care and service unique to the patients' and families' expectations and needs.

Responsibilities

• Request, receive, distribute equipment, and manage obsolescence and stocking of general med-surg supplies in various healthcare settings.
• Work with end users to request supplies, troubleshoot supply issues, and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain work and supply storage areas and equipment in a clean, up-to-date, organized, and safe condition.
• Perform periodic PAR level replenishment duties using various resupply procedures to maintain stock levels.
• Serve as a frontline Supply Chain support representative for ordering, data entry, and payment activities.
• Assist Supply Chain Leader with special assignments.
• Spend 70% or more time providing inventory or data support.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Supply Chain experience in a healthcare setting.
• Experienced with health ministries and System supply chain processes within specialty areas.
• Ability to train colleagues and assume responsibility for extra assignments.
• Serve as a frontline Supply Chain support representative for complex orders, data entry, reporting, and payment activities and initiatives.
• Knowledge of all duties described in the Technician role.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to complete additional education, training, and competency tests as required.
• Valid driver’s license where required by assignment.

Additional Qualifications

• Previous Supply Chain experience in a healthcare, warehousing, or other distribution environment.
