About the role

The Aeronautics Systems Global Supply Chain organization is dedicated to creating the most trusted, innovative, world-class supply chain that provides value to our customers. This position is located in Palmdale, CA, and is onsite with no telecommute or hybrid schedule accommodation. The role supports activities across multiple disciplines within the Supply Chain process and may be filled at either a Level 1 or Level 2 based on qualifications.

Responsibilities

  • Supports and assists activities within multiple disciplines across the Supply Chain process.
  • Loads, unloads, and conveys materials and parts to multiple work sites.
  • Opens containers using hand tools; counts and weighs materials and records information.
  • Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and machines by hand; loads or unloads materials into or from trucks by hand.
  • Conveys materials using hand trucks, forklifts, or other devices; stacks or assembles materials; aids by lifting heavy objects by hand.
  • Works closely with the Receiving and warehouse team.
  • Wraps and packs parts to send to onsite and offsite locations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to obtain forklift certification.
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs. and walk or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Valid driver’s license or ability to obtain one.
  • Knowledge of SAP.
  • Ability to maintain a Government Secret Clearance.

Qualifications

Associate Supply Chain Tech Coordinator 1

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Supply Chain Tech Coordinator 2

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 2 years of additional education and/or related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience using a forklift, reach lift, or pallet jack.
  • Prior experience using SAP/MES.
  • Hazmat or chemical handling experience.
  • Experience in Aerospace Manufacturing.

Pay

  • Associate Supply Chain Tech Coordinator 1: $19.09 - $31.78 per hour.
  • Supply Chain Tech Coordinator 2: $22.69 - $37.79 per hour.

The salary range represents a general guideline; Northrop Grumman considers factors such as scope, responsibilities, experience, education, skills, and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.

Schedule

  • 1st shift, 4/10s schedule (Monday – Thursday).
  • Onsite position; no telecommute or hybrid schedule.
