Job Overview
Schneider is seeking a Supply Chain Team Leader in Portland to lead a team of Supply Chain Specialists.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of supply chain associates onsite at a customer location
- Streamline, coordinate and implement new supply chain processes
- Work to reduce costs by implementing continuous improvement processes
- Facilitate monthly meetings with internal and external customers and build professional working relationships with customers
- Exceed customers’ service expectations
- Handle performance metrics reporting
- Meet with suppliers to discuss performance and upcoming projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, logistics, transportation or a related field
- Two plus years of previous supply chain experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent leadership skills
- Able to work onsite at a customer facility
