Job Overview

Schneider is seeking a Supply Chain Team Leader in Portland to lead a team of Supply Chain Specialists.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of supply chain associates onsite at a customer location
  • Streamline, coordinate and implement new supply chain processes
  • Work to reduce costs by implementing continuous improvement processes
  • Facilitate monthly meetings with internal and external customers and build professional working relationships with customers
  • Exceed customers’ service expectations
  • Handle performance metrics reporting
  • Meet with suppliers to discuss performance and upcoming projects

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, logistics, transportation or a related field
  • Two plus years of previous supply chain experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Able to work onsite at a customer facility
