Job Summary

The Supply Chain Services Supervisor supervises and directs supply chain staff to meet safety, productivity, and quality goals. This role ensures consistent and efficient delivery of supplies and services to facility departments. It also oversees the semi-annual inventory of warehouse/General Stores and facility supply areas.

Essential Functions of the Role

  • Supervises assigned staff, responsible for hiring, firing, evaluations, training, work allocation, and problem resolution.
  • Makes sure employees' time and payroll are monitored, corrected, and performed.
  • Handles escalated issues from staff and decides on a resolution method. Determines if it should be escalated further to management.
  • Leads all warehouse/General Stores processes and ensures efficiencies in logistics and processes.
  • Identifies new opportunities for efficiencies and provides feedback to management. Identifies, reports, and communicates to management trends and/or irregularities.
  • Evaluates deficiencies and develops plans to correct. Participates in the development of short and long-range goals for the department including budget, staffing, and systems requirements.
  • Participates in special projects involving continuous improvement both inside and outside area(s) of direct responsibility.
  • Oversees delivery process of supplies to customer departments.
  • Maintains orderly and organized work area to facilitate efficient processes.
  • Oversees accurate documentation of supply distribution tracking for volumes and trends.

Qualifications

  • H.S. Diploma/GED Equivalent
  • 3 Years of Experience
