About the role

The Owner Furnished Equipment (OFE) Specialist manages various aspects of OFE, including panels, switchgear, busway, transformers, or other items integrated into Excellerate’s products. This role involves heavy collaboration with the Excellerate Switchgear (OFE) Program Manager, Operations, and Procurement to coordinate requirements for individual Excellerate locations. Responsibilities include managing production schedules, supplier communications, issue resolution, and customer/client interactions in a timely and professional manner.

You will develop and implement program strategies, coordinate across multiple projects with critical delivery needs, and adapt to a dynamic, potentially geographically dispersed project environment. Strong communication, leadership, and proactive problem-solving are essential.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Excellerate Switchgear Program Manager, Operations, Production Planning, and Procurement to confirm day-to-day OFE delivery requirements align with production schedules.
• Support order management within the System of Record (ERP), including master data requirements, order updates, and proper receipt/usage of materials by specification.
• Communicate proactively and effectively at all levels within the project environment, demonstrating strong leadership and adaptability.
• Meet individual Excellerate location needs for receiving, installing, and shipping OFE content as a finished good, providing timely updates on schedules, resources, and issue resolution.
• Continuously improve communication, activities, and processes to enhance efficiency.
• Manage timely resolution of issues, escalating those outside the project team’s scope as needed.
• Identify and proactively manage project risks and issues, ensuring execution of corrective action plans.
• Lead internal and external quality meetings.
• Escalate issues to Operational leaders or the Excellerate Switchgear Program Manager, collaborating on solutions.
• Participate in meetings related to OFE scope and requirements for individual Excellerate facilities.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent, plus relevant work experience.
• 2-5+ years of experience within FTI, Excellerate, procurement, or related fields, as determined by management.
• Working knowledge of the technical and organizational environments where project deliverables are created and used.
• Up to 10% travel may be required.

Schedule

This position typically works between 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday through Friday. However, work may be performed at any time or on any day of the week to meet business needs.
