Supply Chain Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Supply Chain Specialist II / III to support procurement and strategic sourcing activities for power generation operations. This role is responsible for sourcing electrical equipment and services, managing vendor relationships, executing RFQs/RFPs, negotiating commercial agreements, supporting preventive maintenance activities, and ensuring operational readiness.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities, ensuring timely sourcing and purchasing of materials and services.
• Oversee inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels and support business operations.
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors, including negotiating contracts, pricing, and commercial terms.
• Leverage a strong supply chain background to optimize procurement processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Work closely with onsite teams to coordinate procurement activities and ensure seamless execution across the supply chain.

Requirements

• Experience managing procurement or strategic sourcing.
• Strong supply chain background.
• Ability to handle end-to-end procurement along with other contractors/vendors.
• Must have safety glasses, steel-toed boots, and PPE suit.

Qualifications

• Experience with Power BI reporting and dashboards (preferred).
• Experience using Oracle ERP, SAP, Maximo, or other procurement/supply chain systems (preferred).
• Experience supporting power generation, utility, energy, or industrial operations (preferred).
