Supply Chain Specialist

About the role

SRC, Inc. is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist (hybrid) to support corporate supply chain activities and supplier performance that drive operational efficiency in Syracuse, NY. The role supports corporate manufacturing and development operations, requires a self‑starter who is detail‑oriented, motivated, works well in a team, manages supplier relationships, and reports directly to the Senior Manager of Supply Chain Management.

Location: Syracuse, NY. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Responsibilities

• Interface with different US Government systems
• Process new suppliers via standard onboarding procedures
• Accurately record information from one database into another
• Follow up and stay organized with tasks

Requirements

• Associate’s degree and 2+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination)
• Must meet eligibility requirements for security clearance

Skills

• Ability to work cross‑functionally to achieve common goals
• Working knowledge of basic purchasing procedures (preferred)
• Proficiency with MS Office products, especially strong MS Excel and MS Query knowledge
• Working knowledge of Deltek Costpoint (preferred)
• Basic knowledge of supply chain activities including sourcing
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical skills with ability to multi‑task
• Able to communicate effectively in person and on the phone with suppliers and internal customers

Pay

The anticipated salary range for this position (based in Syracuse, NY) is $55,000 to $58,000 annually; actual salary varies with experience, skills, location, and business needs.
