About the Role

We are seeking a results-oriented Supply Chain Specialist to support and optimize end-to-end supply chain operations. The role will focus on inventory optimization, demand planning, and process improvement using Kanban and MRP methodologies. The ideal candidate will use Epicor, Excel, and Power BI to maintain accurate data, deliver actionable insights, and ensure timely fulfillment while partnering with procurement, production, and logistics teams to reduce cost and improve service levels.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day inventory operations and maintain optimal stock levels using Kanban systems and MRP processes.
  • Run and validate MRP runs, analyze results, and adjust parameters to align supply with demand forecasts.
  • Maintain and update master data in Epicor (or equivalent ERP), ensuring accuracy of part records, lead times, and supplier information.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports in Power BI and Excel to track key supply chain metrics (inventory turns, fill rate, on-time delivery).
  • Collaborate with purchasing and suppliers to expedite critical items, negotiate lead times, and resolve supply disruptions.
  • Analyze demand forecasts and historical consumption to create replenishment plans and minimize stockouts or excess inventory.
  • Coordinate inbound logistics and work with warehouse staff to ensure accurate receiving, put-away, and cycle counting procedures.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, reduce waste, and implement best practices across the supply chain.
  • Support cross-functional projects (production planning, quality, engineering) to align material availability with production schedules.
  • Document procedures, maintain audit-ready records, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of hands-on supply chain, inventory control, or materials planning experience.
  • Practical experience with Kanban systems and MRP planning methodologies.
  • Proficiency with Epicor ERP (or similar) for master data maintenance and transaction processing.
  • Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, data analysis) and experience building reports/dashboards in Power BI.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, able to collaborate across teams and with suppliers.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Continuous improvement mindset; certifications such as APICS CPIM/CSCP, Six Sigma, or equivalent are a plus.
