About the role
We are looking for a candidate who will be performing the role of a Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) Engineer, Level 3, supporting the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) program.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments of supply chain processes to identify vulnerabilities and potential threats to defense systems.
- Create, manage, and brief classified technical data, ensuring strict compliance with security protocols and regulations while delivering precise information to authorized personnel.
- Monitor and analyze supply chain data, including geopolitical developments and market trends, to anticipate and mitigate potential disruptions.
- Prepare detailed risk assessment reports and present findings to senior leadership, providing actionable recommendations for risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address identified risks and ensure compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) regulations.
- Collaborate with third-party suppliers and contractors, ensuring adherence to security standards and contractual obligations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance supply chain performance and security in defense projects.
- Maintain metrics and produce monthly and annual task metric reports.
Requirements
- Active DoD Secret clearance required, with Top Secret (TS) and SCI eligibility.
- Bachelor of Science in STEM Field.
- At least seven (7) years of experience working on missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD program/project.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and/or lead sub-teams to analyze and resolve problems.
- Systems Security Engineering (SSE) experience in DoD programs.
- At least five (5) years of experience coordinating policy/technical issues with outside agencies/OSD level coordination.
- Experience with controlling highly competitive information via secure techniques.
