Responsibilities

  • Assists with updating data associated with product conversions, and participates in the design or maintenance of par location item layout.
  • Inspects and accepts deliveries, ensuring products match packing slips and identifying delivery locations.
  • Completes replenishment, picking, and receiving processes in the computer to maintain accurate records.
  • Tags capital equipment upon receipt and communicates necessary information to purchasing.
  • Solves invoice discrepancies related to purchase orders and prepares items for return.
  • Delivers supplies, equipment, and packages to customers, ensuring accurate location delivery.
  • Picks up return items, performs daily par cart inventories, and delivers supplies to assigned areas.
  • Establishes relationships with clinical departments to ensure collaboration, and provides feedback on par level adjustments.
  • Safeguards par areas by ensuring they are orderly, properly tagged, and sufficiently stocked.
  • Maintains warehouse and other assigned areas in a clean, safe, and organized manner.

Requirements

  • Possesses basic math skills.
  • Pays attention to detail.
  • Communicates clearly and effectively in English. Can communicate directly with delivery drivers and clinicians.
  • Has computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Can identify, sort and count accurately.
  • Exhibits critical thinking and analytical mindset.
  • Exhibits familiarity with shipping and billing procedures.
  • Able to meet deadlines and prioritize departmental priorities.
  • Able to process large shipments in an organized manner.
  • Exhibits demonstrated ability to use an ERP system.
  • Understands medical terminology and products.
  • Knowledgeable about inventory, receiving, replenishment, and par-level concepts.
  • Understands receiving processes and basic materials management.
  • Able to operate material handling equipment.
  • Displays strong organizational skills.
  • Works well with a team.
  • Displays strong interpersonal skills.
  • Handles discrepancies or shipping problems calmly and politely.
  • Manages time efficiently.
  • Displays solid problem-solving skills.
  • Displays awareness of proper receiving and storage safety procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs and mail processing equipment.
  • Able to manage and organize tasks for success.

Qualifications

  • High School Grad or Equiv.
  • 1+ year of related work experience in supply chain or customer service setting.
