Supply Chain Project Manager

About the role

Lead procurement execution and supplier project management for aerospace programs to ensure compliant, cost-effective, high-quality deliverables aligned with technical, regulatory, and schedule requirements. Primarily office-based with cross-functional collaboration, supplier site visits, and travel up to 25% as needed. Flexibility for schedule adjustments and occasional overtime is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with program goals, cost targets, supplier capabilities, and certification needs.
• Manage supplier selection, contract negotiations, performance, and supply continuity to meet production objectives.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Program teams to resolve procurement and supplier challenges.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and report metrics and risks to senior leadership.
• Recommend supplier and sourcing strategies, prioritize supplier issues, and influence recovery and cost-control plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related technical field.
• At least eight years of aerospace procurement or supply chain experience managing complex programs.
• Strong knowledge of aerospace materials, supplier ecosystems, negotiation, contracts, project management, and procurement tools.
• Certifications like PMP or CPIM are preferred.
• Experience with aerospace regulations, ERP/SAP, international logistics, and analytical reporting.
