Supply Chain Planner II

About the role

This role combines collaborative/in-person and independent work, operating in a hybrid format with both onsite and remote work. It involves Factory and Business Area Planning at the MER24 Sustainment Center, focusing on supply chain activities and supporting programs.

Responsibilities

• Supports execution of programs and reports on key performance indicators, performance data, and miscellaneous metrics.
• Identifies and escalates issues to relevant departments.
• Plans, prepares, issues, and controls material requirements in conjunction with the production schedule.
• Supports risk management activities impacting the value chain through cross-functional team collaboration.
• Ensures timely and accurate shipment of materials to meet contractual and internal delivery commitments.
• Utilizes system and process tools to achieve program and functional goals.

Requirements

• Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of work experience or equivalent experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Presentation skills.
• Ability to report production status to program or factory teams.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, etc.).
• Ability to analyze and respond to exceptions in MRP, particularly around Bills of Material, Material Planning, Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, and COs.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Good communication skills and drive to learn Supply Chain initiatives, processes, and procedures.
• Experience working in a Depot environment using YORK, Paperless MES system, and Oracle Pay.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $67,406 - $114,590, based on a variety of factors including business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications.
