Supply Chain Planner - #26-13134

Day to Day Responsibilities

• Use strong system skills, analytical abilities and business knowledge to examine the effectiveness of manufacturing and Supply Chain operations and to communicate conclusions.
• Determine scope of improvement projects; initiate and lead improvement projects as necessary.
• Develop reports and analysis for continuous improvement.
• Create, modify, improve and support business reports and queries for Operations, Supply Chain, Finance and other functional groups.
• Directly responsible for performing work in a safe manner and maintaining a safe work environment.
• Analyze internal and external processes (benchmarking) to maximize efficiency of function and systems.

Qualifications

• Required Education (minimum required for consideration): High School Diploma
• Required Skills: Proven analytical and project management skills, Strong written and verbal communication skills, Solid problem-solving skills and decision-making skills, Ability to multi-task; effectively prioritize and manage projects, as well as day-to-day responsibilities, Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact across all functions (engineering, Supply Chain, etc) and at all levels of the organization, Self-motivated with positive can-do attitude and strong work ethic, Ability to use Microsoft Office software applications (Excel and Access)
• Desired Skills: 2-5 years experience in supply chain, Degree in supply chain or APICS certification preferred, Experience, training or certification Lean and/or Six Sigma/Performance Excellence. Green Belt certification preferred, Understanding of Cable Products, Materials and Manufacturing processes, Knowledge and understanding of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. SAP experience preferred, Thrives within both autonomous and team working atmospheres, Champions change and embraces flexibility, Demonstrates drive and commitment through the organization
