Supply Chain Operations Specialist - Per Diem
Position Highlights
The Supply Chain Operations Specialist position offers a pay range of $18.38 - $26.65 per hour, determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience.
Job Summary
The Supply Chain Operations Specialist is responsible for maintaining established stock levels in supply areas for assigned Hospital units, medical group locations, and off-site points of care. This includes monitoring inventory levels, delivering supplies, and managing relationships with clinicians.
What You Will Do
- Maintain inventory levels and record counts for all medical supplies in assigned PAR locations
- Deliver medical supplies to various departments and ensure timely replenishment and stock placement
- Organize and facilitate Just-in-Time deliveries to assigned units
- Check supplies for expiration and perform expiration checks
- Create, foster, and maintain relationships with department secretaries, nurses, and charge nurses
- Respond to supply requests using department phones, Vocera, and pagers
- Ensure accurate data entry into handhelds, computers, and expiration logs
- Stay updated with departmental and system-wide updates via email
- Participate in departmental initiatives such as process improvement, implementations, or regulatory readiness
- Adhere to Endeavor policies, infection control protocols, and Joint Commission standards
What You Will Need
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior experience in warehousing and/or inventory management (preferred but not required)
- Prior experience in a hospital setting (preferred but not required)
- Education: High school diploma or GED
- Certification: Depending on specific job duties, a driver’s license may be required. Certified Materials & Resource Professional (CMRP) is admired.

- Capable of learning to effectively utilize handheld scanners, personal computers, and Endeavor Health’s ERP system
Physical Demands
Medium work (exerting up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 30 lbs. of force frequently and/or up to 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objects)
