About the role
Our management consulting team focuses on our clients’ critical business needs. From strategy to operations and everything in between, our integrated solution approach is designed to help enable and manage growth, leverage resources, and mitigate costs and risks. At Plante Moran, we have the privilege of serving clients and providing consultative services as they face challenges and seek new opportunities.
Your work will include, but not be limited to, working with our clients to improve their supply chain and operations through:
- Design and implementation of improved sourcing and purchasing strategies
- Optimization of warehousing and logistics processes
- Analyzing client data and trends to identify improvement opportunities
- Creating business process maps to identify efficiencies and best practices
- Design and analysis of distribution strategies
- Identification and implementation of operational improvement initiatives
- Reduction of inventory and lead times
- Enhancement of scheduling and planning processes
- Supporting project management offices (PMO)
Requirements
- 1-3 years of Supply Chain related experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or business related field is required
- Qualified individuals must either reside in the Southfield, MI area or be willing to relocate for this opportunity
- Frequent travel throughout the region, with approximately 50% overnight travel
Position may be filled as a Consultant or Senior Consultant based on applicable experience.

Pay
The compensation range reflects the base salary we reasonably expect to pay for this position across our offices in the following regions: CO, IL, OH, and MA. Generally, experienced hires are not hired at or near the maximum salary range, as compensation decisions take into account a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to: responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. For early career roles, including campus hires, we offer standardized, market-based starting salaries among individuals within the same hiring group.
The compensation range for this role in CO, IL, OH, and MA is: $87,500-$136,500.
