About the role
Northrop Grumman Propulsion Systems is seeking multiple Supply Chain MRP Analysts (Level 3) to join its team near Clearfield and Magna, Utah. These roles will support all of Propulsion Systems' MRP, demand, and scheduling systems and report through the demand planning organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop solutions to complex MRP and demand problems, performing research to determine the best option without manager guidance.
- Work with peers and business partners to identify workflows or processes to establish standards that improve program cost and efficiency.
- Set standards for business processes and then train, coach, and gatekeep those standards across functions and programs.
- Evaluate and determine the best fit of tools and techniques for data mapping, data mining, data transformation, and data integration.
- Execute sales order line entries through contracts to ensure proper demand and configuration.
- Act as an MRP subject matter expert (SME), point of contact, and key resource for multiple functional groups.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in data management and analysis, or a Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience.
- An additional 9+ years of direct MRP management or data management experience in a complex production environment may substitute for a degree.
- Advanced problem-solving skills and experience in implementations and execution of countermeasures.
- Expertise in Excel and the ability to produce technical reports quickly.
- Basic competency in project management skills.
- Strong ability to research, define, and document processes.
- Ability to prioritize and execute key metrics.
- Deep understanding of MRP processes, including how they flow, affect one another, and influence costs.
- Ability to learn and consume large amounts of data quickly.
Preferred Qualifications
- Subject matter expertise in Costpoint or SAP.
- Familiarity with the SyncChrono scheduling tool.
- Understanding of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
- Experience creating VBA and PowerBI solutions.
- Project management experience leveraging individuals across multiple organizations.
- Confident public speaking presence.
- Ability to create cross-functional teams and drive performance execution as an indirect leader.
- Familiarity with Department of Defense (DoD) and Earned Value Management (EVM).
Pay
Primary salary range: $108,200.00 – $162,400.00. Depending on the position, employees may also be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions and company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
Schedule
This position follows a 9/80 work schedule, allowing employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
