About the role

Lead all warehouse activities at our new Salt Lake City Manufacturing Facility. Utilize continuous improvement skills to drive the organization to world class status. Responsibilities include Safety Leadership, Operational Excellence, Inventory Integrity, Continuous Improvement & Lean, and Strategic Budgeting.

Responsibilities

  • Safety Leadership: Architect and enforce an environment of uncompromising safety.
  • Operational Excellence: Plan, direct, and synchronize the full lifecycle of warehouse functions (inbound receiving, strategic putaway, lean picking, and line-side delivery).
  • Inventory Integrity: Systems-driven management of inventory with a goal of 99.9%+ accuracy.
  • Continuous Improvement & Lean: Identify, champion, and execute long-term CI initiatives (Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma) both in the warehouse and site operations.
  • Strategic Budgeting: Develop and implement the departmental OPEX and CAPEX budgets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent demonstrated experience.
  • U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Eight years of experience in a manufacturing warehouse management role.
  • Strong working knowledge of Oracle.
  • Ability to work 100% on-site.
  • Ability to travel extensively to Los Angeles for training during the initial months of the role.

Qualifications

  • Preferred Qualifications: Strong working knowledge of all supply chain functions, demonstrated ability to grow and evolve teams and organizations, strong understanding of Lean Six Sigma principles, systems, and tools, strong oral and written communication skills, ability to work in a team environment and dynamically align to changing business conditions, APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP) is a plus.

Benefits

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.

Pay

Target Base Salary Range: $95,000 - $145,000 USD
