About the role

Amazon Last Mile is seeking an experienced candidate to lead the development and execution of new worldwide transportation initiatives designed to improve overall efficiency and meet the growing demand for last mile capacity.

Responsibilities

  • Build strategic labor planning models, partnering with product teams for tool development, and managing labor/scheduling resources for the network
  • Communicate with Delivery Station Leaders to determine capacity needs from the flexible labor pool
  • Work directly with labor planners and workforce staffing partners to integrate labor planning and execute labor orders
  • Partner with operations and PXT leaders to deep dive escalations related to labor scheduling
  • Maintain and update existing and create new metrics and reporting that help drive business conclusions, continually improving reporting and analysis processes
  • Design and implement reporting solutions to enable stakeholders to manage the business and make effective decisions
  • Design and conduct experiments on the effectiveness and efficiency of different initiatives to improve key output metrics and help shape the long-term strategy
  • Leverage data to increase the efficiency of our programs working closely with the business teams to drive optimization

Requirements

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience
  • 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
  • 2+ years of supply chain experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Skills

  • Data mining and modeling skills
  • Facilitating ideas and working from concept through to execution

Pay

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.

USA, TN, Nashville - 77,200.00 - 115,800.00 USD annually

USA, WA, Bellevue - 85,800.00 - 128,600.00 USD annually
