Supply Chain Manager- Full-Time Days- Central Florida

About the role

This position manages and directs the Procurement, Warehouse Distribution and Inventory Control functions at UF Health Leesburg Hospital or UF Health The Villages Hospital. It also oversees Shipping/Receiving functions and staff. The manager coordinates all product conversions within Central Supply areas, ensuring proper implementation in collaboration with supply chain leadership. Operational authority is assumed in the absence of the Corporate Director.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct Procurement, Warehouse Distribution, and Inventory Control functions
• Oversight of Shipping/Receiving functions and staff
• Coordinate all product conversions within Central Supply areas
• Ensure proper implementation of conversion processes in collaboration with supply chain leadership
• Absorb operational authority for the department in the absence of the Corporate Director

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma/GED, Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Health Service Administration or related fields preferred
• Licenses/Certifications/Registrations: Valid Driver’s License
• Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training: Read, write, speak, and understand English; Proficiency in expense reductions, benchmarking, and Group Purchasing Organization compliance
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience in acute care supply chain activities; Proficiency in Materials Management Information Systems, distribution models, Point of Use systems, and inventory control
