About the role

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on challenging problems with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain and collaborate with a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles across AWS.

Responsibilities

  • Track the status of Purchase Requisitions to Purchase Order using internal tools and processes
  • Manage, analyze, and reconcile purchase orders internally and externally
  • Work with vendors and Procurement to coordinate purchase order changes and approvals
  • Monitor and coordinate purchase order issuance and cancellations
  • Track recurring issues in the Purchase Requisition to Purchase Order creation process and proactively recommend solutions
  • Present performance metrics associated with the Purchase Requisition to Purchase Order processes
  • Manage a ticket queue
  • Issue POs and ensure timely payment
  • Material/Inventory Planning and Supply/Demand planning and Forecasting
  • Maintain continuity of supply (COS)
  • Communicate supply status, risks, and mitigations to internal stakeholders and leadership
  • Work with data and analytics (view, edit, and extrapolate data in Excel or similar spreadsheet software)
  • Collaborate with suppliers/vendors, datacenters, and inventory warehousing teams

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Business, Procurement, Logistics, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Supply Chain Analysis, Construction, or other related fields

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of supply chain management, production planning, capacity planning, or manufacturing operations experience

Pay

USA, TX, Austin - $62,600.00 - $109,600.00 USD annually

USA, WA, Seattle - $80,200.00 - $109,600.00 USD annually
