About the role
As the Supply Chain Manager, you will lead the development and implementation of supply chain strategies that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, inventory management, logistics, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.Responsibilities
- Develop and execute supply chain strategies to optimize operations and meet business objectives.
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
- Oversee inventory management systems to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
- Plan and coordinate logistics to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of goods.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry best practices.
- Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Proven ability to manage complex supply chain processes and drive operational improvements.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders.
- Experience with supply chain software and tools, such as SAP, Oracle SCM, or similar.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of global supply chain concepts and best practices.
- Experience with demand planning, forecasting, and inventory management.
- Understanding of procurement, sourcing, and contract negotiation.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
