About the role
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for the planning, purchasing, inventory management, and shipping functions. They lead and manage the planning and purchasing team, set goals, and manage performance. They also lead supplier relationships, improve on-time delivery, and manage inventory performance.
Responsibilities
- Abide by all Safety regulations and policies
- Meet all production standards and efficiencies focusing on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost
- Help maintain 5S standards in your work location and whole department
- Work outside of your current Job Classification and Department as qualified and needed
- Plan and manage the development of the team
- Lead and manage the inventory performance as measured by on-time, accurate shipments
- Develop and evolve the information systems which are used by the Materials organization
- Manage and develop supplier base to support operations
- Maximize the value of the supply chain including best pricing, on time delivery, quality and working capital (inventory/DSI and payment terms/DPO)
- Lead the Logistics team to success
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience
- 5-10 years of experience in the Planning, Purchasing and Logistics functions in a large manufacturing organization
- Experience in a manufacturing environment utilizing real-time ERP/MRP (experience in forecasting software, SAP a plus) platforms with concentration in Production Planning and Inventory Control
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the business
- Industry certification preferred in the areas of 6-Sigma, APICS or other relevant industry training
- Demonstrated ability to lead individuals in the areas of planning, organizational and analytical development
- Excellent computer proficiency, including in MS Office applications
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Business Administration or related field
- Experience in a senior-level supply chain management role
- Experience in implementing lean principles and tools such as value-stream-mapping and Kaizen
- Experience in managing and developing a team of planners and buyers
- Experience in managing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts
- Experience in managing inventory and logistics operations

Pay
The Salary range for this position is $95,600.00 - $153,900.00 This is the lowest to highest annual full-time salary range we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. The salary offered within the range may vary depending on multiple factors including job level, geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience and in compliance with local wage requirements.
