Supply Chain Manager
General Description
- Lead and optimize end-to-end logistics operations across the supply chain.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee customer order management, production planning, material planning, warehousing, inventory management, shipping, receiving, packaging, and internal/external logistics flows.
- Ensure on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, and production planning that meets customer requirements and inventory targets.
- Cook up logistics activities with customers, suppliers, shipping contractors, and cross-functional internal departments.
- Manage logistics, freight, and warehousing costs while ensuring compliance with budget objectives.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve logistics processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Establish, monitor, and drive logistics KPIs to support operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead the implementation of new logistics and supply chain projects.
- Manage supplier and transportation provider performance to ensure service reliability and cost efficiency.
- Lead, coach, and develop the logistics team, including performance management and annual performance reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in Materials Planning, Production Planning, Supply Chain Management, and Warehouse Management (shipping & receiving).
- 3–5 years of leadership experience managing cross-functional logistics teams.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the automotive industry, preferably in Tier 1 manufacturing and injection molding.
- Experience with ERP/SAP systems.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency.
- Experience in inventory, purchasing, supplier, and logistics management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
