About the role
Responsible for managing supply chain operations, ensuring efficient logistics and inventory management.
Responsibilities
- Oversee procurement processes to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials.
- Manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts and excess inventory.
- Coordinate with suppliers to maintain relationships and negotiate favorable terms.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to supply chain operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain management or logistics.
- Proven experience in managing complex supply chains and logistics operations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience with supply chain software and tools such as SAP, Oracle SCM, etc.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis.
