Supply Chain Management Intern

About the role

This is a support role to assist Ebara Elliott Energy (EEE) professionals at the U.S. global headquarters in Jeannette, PA. Students will receive hands‑on experience in the Supply Chain Management department within the rotating equipment industry. EEE designs, builds, refurbishes and re‑engineers products such as steam turbines, centrifugal and axial compressors, cryogenic pumps and expanders, power recovery expanders and gas expanders for global energy markets.

Responsibilities

• Own and complete individual projects for real‑world hands‑on experience.
• Participate in team projects and activities to demonstrate cooperation.
• Gain exposure to day‑to‑day responsibilities of EEE leadership, including company and customer meetings and job shadowing.
• Analyze local and regional spend data on high‑volume purchases to capture economies of scale, optimize inventory placement, and structure standardized RFQ packages.
• Build system capabilities for Blanket Purchase Orders (BPOs) and automated supplier releases, leveraging product lifecycle management tools to sync updated technical drawings.
• Maintain real‑time Approved Vendor List (AVL) lead times to enhance operational data accuracy and support enterprise AI lead‑time analytics.
• Refine stocking and inventory transfer strategies to minimize excess material and streamline downstream transactions across receiving, inspection, and invoicing.

Requirements

• Major in Supply Chain or Information Systems.
• Completion of at least junior year of a Bachelor’s Degree.
• Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis for any employer (no visa sponsorship available).

Schedule

Based at EEE headquarters in Jeannette, PA. Required to commute Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. for a twelve‑week internship.
